![]() Once it’s there, it can no longer be modified. ![]() It’s like placing a rubber stamp on a piece of paper. From that point on, that data can no longer be changed. Once all information is entered, and the “OK” button (how that button is labeled is up to the stamp’s implementation) is pressed, that data gets merged into the stamp and the stamp gets displayed. Here is a short video that demonstrates how such a stamp gets applied:Īs you can see, the custom dialog that collects the data that will be placed as part of the stamp pops up after the stamp is placed. There is sometimes a misconception about how a custom dynamic stamp works in the PDF environment. ![]() However, in this case, I want to focus specifically on Vray Proxies. I do want to note that Skatter also has some built-in tools for creating render only models that we’ll discuss in a future video. If we were to add a lot of these trees, our SketchUp model would quickly become unusable from just the amount of geometry in the trees. If you look at the model size for just these 3 trees, it’s over 61 MB. They’re very detailed, and contain a LOT of geometry. ![]() Let’s say, for example, that we want to render these 3 trees (trees are from Skatter’s model library). Vray allows you to export your object as a proxy file, will import as a normal mesh at render time only. ![]() However, that being said, usually the most realistic models for rendering are also high polygon, so we can use proxies to bring those items into our renderings without having to bring them into SketchUp. This can be especially useful because SketchUp doesn’t always handle very high polygon models very well. In today’s video, we’re going to talk about using Vray proxies to speed up your rendering models.īasically, a proxy is a replacement within your model that is used to take the place of a high polygon model. In this Vray 3.6 for SketchUp tutorial, learn to use Vray proxies to create high quality renderings with high polygon models without slowing down your SketchUp models! ![]() The story of Watch Dogs 2 is a pretty interesting premise, considering the world that we all actually live in. Since you now have a variety of actions to use on environmental hazards, it's easy to make your enemies think that you are a ghost. You have so many options available to you, that shooting your gun is often the least effective way to deal with a situation. I also realized very quickly on, that there's much less need for guns in this game. Even many of the story missions are laced with humor and jokes, even if the main objective does take on a somewhat serious tone. It's a much more laid back and fun-to-play game because it never takes itself too seriously. Gone is the super serious tone that permeated the original Watch Dogs. Your second mission in should be noticeable enough to get a chuckle out of just about anybody. You'll notice choice tidbits of news briefs that pop across your screen, as well as some missions have been ripped right out of the headlines of today's world. Watch Dogs 2 is seriously enjoying poking fun at the real world as well. While there are a few loading games throughout the game, for the most part they are quick and don't eat up your time loading the next section of the game. You can still pick up multiplayer missions from Deadsec, but until they've fixed the problem you won't be running into anyone else on the street. While seamless multiplayer was originally one of the core tenants of the game, for the time being it isn't working correctly. It's your source of missions, equipment, and even in-game apps to customize your play style. It's where you'll get new missions from Deadsec, where you'll order cars when you aren't stealing them, and there are plenty of apps that you'll end up downloading for it to help customize your play style. Much like it's predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 uses your phone as a central hub. ![]() As a Sandbox game though, there is roughly a ton that you can do.Īll of the various different kinds of missions that you will play through also aid in your big goal throughout the game: acquiring followers. Hacking is a major component of gameplay here, and as you learn new skills you'll open up more skills used in hacking, as well as get access to new and better environmental hacks. If the thought of being able to hack just about everything in sight fills you with glee, then you're going to have a good time. ![]() It sets a much more relaxed and fun tone, which is precisely what this game actually needs. Even your weapons have splashes of neon color on them. Splashes of color are also absolutely everywhere and each time a Deadsec announcement pops up, you may feel like for a moment you've been transported back to the eighties. It's a completely different palette than what we saw in the original game, and it lends itself well to the lighter storyline we see this go around. One of the things I really couldn't get over was just how lovely every location was. You can drive across the Golden Gate bridge, and at times missions will take you iconic areas like Silicon Valley. It's an extra treat for those of us who have never had the chance to actually visit the Bay Area. Unlike the dreary locales of Chicago, you're attacked with bright colors and sunny skies of San Francisco, California. Attention has been paid to both the world that you are running around in, along with small details like the clothing of other characters and the buildings. He's ridiculously polite, and seemingly embraces the Silicon Valley mentality during work hours. Part of this is him (he's actually into the silly sounding food in Nudle's kitchen), but part is clearly an attempt to fit in somewhere that he stands out.The first thing you'll notice when you start up Watch Dogs 2 is just how much time went into the graphics. He becomes, for lack of a better word, corny. If I had a nickel for every time someone complimented me for being 'well-spoken.'"Īnother social critique "Watch Dogs 2" presents is how Horatio's character changes dramatically as he enters the work environment. You haven't experienced corporate life until you're the only brother in a meeting and have to represent all of blackdom. ![]() But hey, you're fighting the good fight, changing the face of corporate life in the Valley," Marcus responds, trying to put a positive spin on the situation.Īnd that's when Horatio offers the best cultural critique in "Watch Dogs 2," in answering Marcus' upbeat spin. We have our own mailing list," Horatio tells Marcus, seriously. "There's only three other black people that work here. ![]() This allows them to keep tabs on everything you do on your device. In this case, hackers figure out your iCloud login details. Usually, it’s controlled remotely: cybercriminals use a different device to sign in to the app or website that activates the spyware. It’s an app that secretly installs itself on your device, then starts tracking your activity. When it comes to iPhone spyware, it comes in a few different forms. It can even turn on your microphone or camera and take screenshots, intercept calls, and watch what you do on apps like WhatsApp or Snapchat. Spyware can monitor private stuff on your phone, including your location, videos, photos, text messages, and call history. In some cases, it can even be a heavy-handed parent or partner who installs the spyware on another person’s device to keep tabs on them. Īlso known as stalkerware, spyware installs itself on your device and furtively monitors your activity, relaying your data to other parties without your consent. With its free 7-day trial, Clario can give you online peace of mind from the moment you download it. We’ll explore how spyware can infiltrate your iPhone or Mac and what exactly you can do to ramp up your immunity against it. Here, we’ll take a closer look at the murky world of spyware targeting Apple products. ![]() It pokes around your Mac or iPhone, doing devious things like stealing your personal information and taking a peek at you using your own camera. Spyware specifically targeting Apple devices is rare, but it does exist. Do you know that someone could be spying on your iPhone right now without your knowledge? |
